My battery ran out, and then as soon as I put the charger in, it read 94%. I have the latest firmware. What causes this, or is this just another one of THE MANY bugs that we have come to accept with our P900s?

Nevermind, it is working correctly now. But man it sucks when stuff goes wrong with the P900 crapola.

after periods of intense use or when using high battery drain applications (e.g. camera, games, GPRS) the phone can underestimate the remaining battery power. it usually rights itself after the phone has been allowed to lie dormant for a while (or if you switch it on and off).

Thats a pretty big overestimation, my Sharp gx10 used to turn itself off when it got to lower than 3% and then i would have to charge it to get it back.

My old nokia was the same as the SE it would re-charge itself if i left it alone, even with a drained battery i could still send a quick text message.

Laptops, phones, PDA's... there hasn't been a device yet that has *ever* given me 100% accurate battery level readings, 100% of the time.

Stoopid technology

(How dare you speak of technology in that way!!)

My battery meter is completely useless, fair enough there is some inaccuracy with reading battery power but nothing like mine. For the last week the battery has shown itself to be at 0% despite being fully charged. Eventually it decided to give me a low battery warning and constantly flashed the red led despite just coming off a night of charging.
