Hi all,

I need some expert advice here. I bought T628 (T630 chinese version) in HK and I found out that in the camera feature, it doesn't have the option to Extend the picture size, it only has small (120x160) and large (288x352)option. I thought that T628 is the same as T630, only that T628 is for China market? I also noticed that the Screen is still difficult to see under the sun eventhough it is much brighter and sharper than the T610 screen. Also the battery is worse than my T68 and T610, it only lasts for 1-1,5 days standby. Btw, is there anyway the Phone Status screen can show the "standby time" and "talktime" left for the battery status, just like the T68 has?

I know that the T610 can be software upgraded to T630. Is there anyway I can check that my T628 is not an upgraded T610?

Btw, some of the info:

the software information is:
R1A prgCXC 1255-64_DEV_FIGHTER and R1A prgCXC 1255-62_TAE_FIGHTER

LCD SW Versions:
Test:782074
current: 200308060

Camera SW versions
Test: 0
Current: 200308273

Thanks so much in advance.

Cheers

T630 has a brighter screen compared to a t610

Just like the T68i w/c has a blue keypad lights compared to the yellow keypad lights of the T68m

Id rather have a battery meter anyway. On both my PDA's i have a timer which shows in minutes how much battery is remaining.

Anyone who's owned a Windows PPC will know what its like, you're constantly watching the battery power meter as the minutes tick by, you become OBSESSED with it.

I prefer the icon system you get on phones as you dont see the battery power decrease 'as you use it' more when you happen to glance at the battery icon when you first switch on, or after calls to make sure it'll last the rest of the day.

Its like having a countdown timer telling you the exact time you're going to die !

Ohh..Man... why did SE take away the battery status? It was so good cause it tells me how many minutes left I got with the battery (eventhough it is not 100% right).

Yeah.. I know, how it feel to keep watching the Battery meter level ha..ha... especially now with the T628.. the battery is bad.. however, I noticed that the more I recharge it, the longer its standby time. Now it can last for 2.5 days.

BTW, anyone can advise why T628 doesn't have the Extended option for the Picture size?

Thanks all.

Cheers
