you cant beam signals from a remote to the p900.the total IR software is basicly a software version of a peace of kit called a philips pronto.it runs on ccf files witch can be imported to the p900 .there is a huge selection of ccf files here
http://www.remotecentral.com/[....]area=pronto&db=devices&br=&fc=
.you will need to go to
http://www.psiloc.com/?id=prod&nrp=97
read carfully its a bit confusing
p.s make sure you have (total irRemote) and not (Infrared remote control) thay are diffrent onlt TOTAL can import ccf files

@skydiver
i have already tried both of these sites, but thanks neway. Also my crappy tv (AWA) is not on that codec site. I have also tried the Psiloc website, but where does it actually say HOW to beam the signal.
the site says
Quote:To import codes to the application just send a CCF or Lirc file to your device via infrared, bluetooth or email. The file format will be automatically recognized and Psiloc irRemote will be automatically started.
this is irrelevant without the knowledge of how to import! Am i missing something?

@marceta
If you find either a CCF or Lirc file relevant to your device, send it to the phone, then open it up ('view') when it arrives - it'll automatically be associated with irRemote, which will then present you with import options.
Be aware though that irRemote's importation procedure is pretty damn confusing and as skydiver pointed out, you'll need to read the instructions carefully.
Goodluck!
