This something that know one should EVER try! What u have done is cleared the operating system off your phone and there is nothing you can do to fix, apart from return it to SE to fix-that's providing they'll touch it!!! Good luck bud, think your gonna need it! ;-)

hmmm, I formated mine and got my system restored back to the settings when I got my P900 and I had the same problem.
I don't think thats the problem as I understand it the service must be on a ROM chip that dumps it self onto the hard drive after a format.
Something else is seriously wrong :?:

Hey guyz, nothing is wrong there. The OS of the phone is in the ROM and you cant delete it, so dont worry (Remember the A:/ Z:??). When you choose to format the phone, it will reboot and show you tht the C: is corrupt and needs to be formatted- this is normal. after the format, the OS will copy a few files, like the app shortcuts and the default tones. but you wont have the wallpapers / ringtones tht the phone shipped with. if you have them on the CD, then you can copy them in.

Cleary never used a p800/p900 then.
The corrupt message appears every time. The format thing just uses the app that handles the phone when your phones system files become corrupt. Its not really anything to worry about, as long as the phone works
