Being ultra slim and light, Panasonic's newly announced X400 clamshell, which also includes an VGA camera and self-view mirror, only measures 17.5 mm thick (when closed). So there will be no excuse of it being too bulky for your pockets!
The simple and minimalistic design of the X400 will come in three different colours (black, red and white) and offer a host of features - including a 65,536-colour TFT LCD, "one push auto open" switch for the clamshell, 16-chord polyphonic ringing tones, SMS/MMS messaging capabilities, Java support, infrared (IR) wireless data transfers, CSD and GPRS data support, and a WAP 2.0 browser.
Expect the sleek A400 clamshell to be available sometime during the third quarter (July-September) of this year.

Panasonic announced the X400 back in June, and now its been launched into the market.
X400 is a clamshell mobile with a VGA camera and 2x digital zoom. Panasonic have also implemented an auto-folding function just like the one found at Samsung P510. Press the button and the X400 makes the hard job.
X200’s estimated price is 170 EUR and X400 at 270 EUR. Out in european stores mid november.
