when someone from my contactlist sends me an sms my T68 doesn't recognize the number. it displays "from: +3145793463" for example instead of the corresponding name in my contactlist.
does anyone else have this problem with R2B025?

Are you sure the "contacts" are in the phone and not on the SIM?

yes they are in the phone memory. I'm a quite experience T68 user, so I already checked most possibilities. it's really annoying when you receive a sms it says "from +315648797" instead of the persons name....
I hope SE will fix it in the next upgrade

It doesn't work with the sim very well at all after upgrade. Mind also refuses to show contact info unless the numbers are in international format This post was posted from a T68i

Well it works fine with R2B-025 on my T68i.

When you recieve sms, it says the name, and also when people call.
The picture-phonebook also works well,..no problems at all,..shows correct names and so on.
(and I dont use international numbers (+45)).

I havent tried it on my T68m yet (just had it upgraded friday).
Will try it out of course.

Have You tried out the picture-phonebook,..does this appear correct ?

yes once I have'"resaved" the numbers everything works fine, but I hope I don't have to "resave" all my 130 contacts before my phone recognizes them all.

I hadn't noticed the problem at all, until i called a number that was stored in both my phone and my SIM and then when I checked in my call list i realised the actual number was listed instead of the stored name. How I solved the problem was to take my SIM out and put it into another phone and delete all the entries from it then put it back into the phone and it solved it now the number is listed as the name. Guess the t68i doesn't get on too well with the sim card
