Don't use cotton wool as it lints. You may end up damaging the phone. The same goes for using alchol in unmodified quantities. A company called Klentel produce a specialist cleaning kit for mobile phones which is totally safe, lint free and it works! The pick even doubles up as a stylus for my P900!
