As a fan of the SE P800 then the P900 I thought I'd remain with SE for sometime to come but having seen the spec for the soon-to-be-released Motorola MPX I can see me jumping ship very quickly.

I love the QWERTY keyboard, WiFi and portrait/landscape LCD screen.

Anyone else thinking about jumping ship or is there a replacement to the P900 with WiFi imminent?

Don't really use SE devices anymore, but yeah. I'm gonna get the mpx when it comes out (november+)

No WiFi device in the Px00 form-factor AFAIK

But, no, I wont be getting the MPX - maybe the C500, but only a few months after it comes out

I don't like the c500 that much. The keypad is just terrible. Going to be hard for gaming. The camera isn't that great either. But the processor has been comfirmed as a 200 mhz. So that's great. But I wouldn't get another HTC, the last HTC I bought had enough problems and I don't think this phone is going to be any different. Too many issues to fix. You don't want something which has more negative than positive feedback. And I don't want to go through 5 rom updates to have it working decently.

Gotta wait to find out how much the mpx is gonna carry. Earlier reports said 400 mhz, but the latest out says 206 mhz. Only the finalized version will tell us. Same case with the mpx220. No idea bout the processor, but it should be about there, 200 mhz+.

MPX is a little too wide ... IMHO But kinda flashy ... I read that they are gonna change the keyboard ... to give it a more tactile feedback and so the alphabets are more visible ... Its gonna be the mpx 220 for me... not the mpx

But what other device is so small with a QWERTY keyboard and in-built WiFi?

I'm not aware that SE have one due out shortly, are you?

it would look HUGE by itself, but quite small in a hand. That qwerty kb looks a little small though!

don't be fool by the picture - many people do.
a button is both black&white halfs (it's not 2 buttons)
you switch between functions with a shift key.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but you can not upgrade from a phone only downgrade.
