Like an idiot, I broke my phone recently. It's being repaired and I'm currently using an old handset. I've accessed my contacts.cdb file (which I backed up recently - thankfully) but I can't find anything which will let me view it. I've used a hex editor, but the numbers and names are scrambled and lost between other characters. Is there a program I can use to view my contacts?

Pete, I was going to post your exact question. I called SE and they told me how to do it. Connect your phone to the computer. Click start, Sony, P800, synchronize. The synchronise window will open. It will start to transfer info. The top window is for contacts and looks like a little book.It will prompt you a little and should save in Microsoft outlook or outlook express. Once it finishes, open Outlook express and open contacts or address book. The names and phone numbers will be there. Thats how SE told me to do it and it actually worked.
