I think its time to upgrade my old palm m130.

I like the palm os but am willing to try something new!

I got about £200 to spend on one and am not sure which to get for my moneys worth, i know a couple of you here on esato use pda's and thought you mite recommend one.

At the moment it looks like the Palm Tungsten T2 but am not sure, are the windows bassed ones any good?

Thanks

I got my self a Palm Zire 72 and I recommend it STRONGLY! it's a great PDA with camera (1,2mpx), MP3, videoplayer, taskmanager and great sync with your PC/Mac, and expansion memory with SD/MMC-card... I'm very satisfied with it here is a link for more info: http://www-5.palmone.com/no/en/products/zire72/index.html

yes, I practically love it I also have a 512mb SD-card, so storing pics and capturing video is not a problem.... with the card empty, you can take 20000 ++++++ pics with the highest quality or 6 hours +++ of video in 320x240px... and you can get pretty much music on the card too... and video too... It's with other words AWESOME!
My SD-card is TwinMos card, cause I'm a big TwinMos fan...have TwinMos DDR-RAM memory on my pc too

I've been using pocketpc since it started and currently use the iPAQ 4150 and can highly recommend it. wifi, bluetooth, great screen, compact size, pocket word and excel etc etc and an SD slot in which I currently also have a 512mb card but am watching an ebay auction for a 1gb card (wow!)

having used the pam III, V and Vx in the past I can see benefits for both, indeed I got my wife a Clie because I thought it suited her better as I find palm OS to be a little simpler for the average user

the 4150 is a little over your budget though so you could look at the 2000 series

i have got a HP ipaq 5450, the windows PPC OS is great in my opinion, it is quite similer to Windows XP and is very easy to use.
I Can't really compare to a palm as i have never used a colour palm PDA.
