I recently got a P900 and noticed a possible burnt pixel on the screen. (the top line where the icons are).

When I turn on the P900 with the white background I don't see the burnt pixel, but once it is on, with the bar and the icons I see it.

Is this actually a burnt pixel and can I return it to Sony for a replacement under warranty?

This is commonly reffered to as (dead pixel) it is a fault covered by the manufacturers warranty. This message was posted from a P900

I experienced this problem for a week or two. One day I noticed that the pixel in the top, left corner was white no matter what was on the screen.
I did nothing about it but it has now mysteriously gone & works perfectly again!

Self-repairing P900, not bad eh!
