Hello, Im sorry but Im having a hard time to sync my P900. I havent got a clue, Im just not able to sync. Every time I try I always get the error message "Synchronsation failed" after ½ second. I tried to MS Outlook and MS Windows Adress Book but it dosent matter. I have downloaded the latetes Pc (2.4.1) Suite and the USB drivers the SE homepage hosts. But still same error, both on Win 2000 & Win XP. Im greatfull for any advice, cheers!

can u access the fone's file system? u need to rule out a connection problem rather than a sync problem.
if u can access the file system, try only syncing the fonebook, or maybe only the diary. Make sure Outlook is closed and has no hung processes (a restart and not opening outlook is one way) and finally make sure you havent got internet explorer in Work Offline mode coz thatll kill it too.
Also - disable any software firewalls whilst ur testing.
keep us informed

Hello, thanks for everybodys atention on my matter. It still dosent work to sync. I have no problems to copy files to my P900 or viewing files on the phone / memory stick. Also no problems to take complete backup trhough the SyncStation. Im just not able to sync.
Regarding my firewall, I use a D-Link at home, no software FW at all. But are the SyncStation requierd to reach the net?

Hmm, just after my last post I started MS Outlook and got a error message of something missing an dll-file for SE SyncStation, or out of memeroy. That probably is the catch regarding MS Outlook. But I prefer to use Windows Address Book. I get no error message there when I start it.

try minimising what's sync'd:
Try sync'ing just tasks for example. Try doing a full sync with just one category (maybe a diary) and force the data in both directions.
You checked the IE Offline mode too?

Ok I tested only to sync "task" but still same error. IE is in offline mode, I tested the sync after a restart so Outlok was never opened.
Perhaps I need to edit my fw-settings but which port?
