Couple of days ago I got out of my car clutching my P900, and it slipped out of my hand and proceeded to do a juggling act with it bouncing from one hand to the next, then tried to catch it on my foot(big mistake), then it was traversed at great speed bouncing on the concrete pavement and landing in nearby bushes.

My girlfriend pick it up gingerly as I could not face looking at a smashed screen and other hourendous damage.

As it turned out the lower right hand side has concrete grazing and everything seems to be working except for the odd crashing of the system. All I have to do is to take out the battery and put it back in and hey presto it works again..

Phew!!!!

You lucky bugger

Since i smashed the screen on my P800 a year ago, i take special xtra care of my P900. If my P900 dropped - i'd probably be dead with a heart attack.

I dropped my p900 aswell and like you tried to use my fot but booted it into a empty road, thank god!!!

Landed on it's face.

Becuse I kicked it it slid more than fell so it's just cosmetic damage to the side.

I dropped my P800 about 6 months ago. Thought everything was alright because it only appeared to be scratched. The phone then started to crash 3 or 4 times a day, normally when it was sat idle. When I got CPW to have a look at it they updated the software which didnt help. They finally fixed it by putting in a new screen. Luckily the warrenty paid for it otherwise it would have cost me a small fortune!

I dropped my p800 4 months ago and put in a claim under my house insurance as the screen had cracked. Sent it away to be fixed but when it was returned neither the bluetooth or IR worked!!!

I returned it to them insisting that it was repaired to the FULL working order to which they responded saying that they would replace it with a new one. Since the P900 had only just come out on T-mobile I paid a WHOPPING £50 to have my P800 replaced with a brand spanking new P900!!!!!!

All I can say is sometimes you're the statue but sometimes you're the pidgeon!

Remember when mother sowed your brand new gloves to the sleeves of your winter coat? looking back it was'nt very cool was it? but atleast it stopped you from dropping your mitts down the street. the moral of this story is always keep a trick or two up your sleeve, in other words just use a case. This message was posted from a P900
