but still if you want more than a song or two just to wait for the bus, buy an mp3 player or at least a phone with a memory card (p*00, 6230....)
i don't even use my 128 mb card on my P for mp3s because i just think that's to small at least 2 gb for you favorite songs.....

What he means is how many songs can u put onto the phone. I will answer this: a normal song encoded at 96kbps is about 2-2.5MBs and the quality is ok for the headphones. So u can put 10 songs without worying that u'll run out of space. The disadvantage is that u have to change 'em all the time.

Yeah...I think 96kbps is OK. I was able to fit in a whole album with 12tracks and I still have about 5megs of memory to spare.

Use AAC not mp3. 96kBit aac is equivalent to 128kbit mp3.
