this is the most annoying thing in the world.
can someone help me with a step by step instructions
first i plug in the cable into the usb then it comes up with found new hardware so i put in the cd that came with the cable and it doesnt have the usb drivers

Rule is - at first never connect device first! U must install drivers and than connect device! My friend has the same problem with
dongle - no drivers... Try it!

And u should check the usb port on pc, is it active or not.

You need the driver no matter what. Browse the CD and maybe the driver is in a different directory.
