I was just wondering. Is K700 completely made in plastic or is it just the back cover and keys while rest is made in aluminium ?
Or is the aluminium part just plastic looking as aluminium ?

So, the whole front and the back part around the camera lens is plastic while the battery cover is aluminium. Sound strange. Got the impression it was the opposite (SE site talks about metal frame).

I do miss, that high level fones should be made of aluminium. The could reeuce costs at mid level fones. Thew did it at t610, why do they stopped?

Nothing wrog. It just gives the phone a little bit more of an exclucive look and feel (as T610).

Yes, it can. Plastic can be given an aluminum coating.
Most new pocket PC's are plastic / aluminium coated.
