> Who still uses a landline?
Bookmark topic
Just out of interest, who here relies solely on their mobile for all their calls and has done away with their landline altogether?
Do you find that it works out better?

No because on the landline we get unlimited free calls to other landlines anywhere in the UK(or just England?

) I use my phone for calling mobiles and more personal things.

like my pimp business

I find that with my tariff (Orange 1000) it has enough minutes for me to call anyone I want, and I came to the conclusion that I dont really need a landline at all.
Not much of a talkative person on the phone y'see..

I kept my landline only for internet for a few months and finally got rid me it when i got broadband . And yeah it is much easier without a landline as every one in my family has a cellphone and so there is no problem of missing calls. :-)

I considered it once upon a time, but my landline allows me free calling to other landlines and up to 1800 minutes to all of Europe and the USA for a measly £15 a month.
Now show me a mobile tariff that can do that!!

I have a landline purely so people can call me. I have no need for one as 1p per min is sweet
I even use my PC to dial-up via my handset on the rare occasion I need to.

@the_chinatown - Here in Manila, it's much cheaper to use the celfone rather than the landline - that is for SMS send only! But majority, are still hook up with their landline fones, just like when using the internet and all that!
@lynx69 - It took you ages to deliver the images of the lads you're talking about

! I pay good price mate, do you accept - paypal, sampal and palpak - terms of payments

I just think its easier to have one number to give to everyone and one phone bill to worry about.
Just my l'il ol' humble opinion..
