Hey people...
Just thought I'd let you in on something that is causing a lot of noise here in Canada...one flat rate for cell phones, eliminating a need for a landline. It's called City Fido and basically it's like your mobile becomes the only phone you use, wether at home or on the run...for only 45$ CDN (approx. 33$ US or 27 EUR) for unlimited local calling, 24/7. Unfortunately, this comes from an operator that has coverage issues (it's a relatively new company, in business since 1996). I use them since I am always or almost within the city, where I personally don't have any problems.
In any case, this has understandably pissed off landline providers who are suffering from this. Just thought I would share the info

Well, I did specify "probably", but from my European experience, when it comes to communications, wether landline or mobile, I noticed the concept of unlimited use of anything does not exist...except maybe for data, but other than that, you always pay for the airtime you use...Correct me if I'm wrong, as always

telewest off 'unlimited' calls. I think BT do aswell, but you have to re-dial after 60mins to avoid a charge

@ orangeman
are those unlimited calls 24/7? Can you provide me with a link to that? I'm curious...
@ slattery69
with the service I mentionned, number portability is a possibility also, so no need for 2 numbers...
@ all
Regardless, I didn't know unlimited calls were available in Europe...these providers, are they in the Uk? And what does BT stand for?

Telewest are the greatest IMO because not only do they offer the talk unlimited but they're the only company to offer 3mb broadband (2mb @ £50 per month + 50% extra FREE!) Beat that NTL. LOL

@boba
I keep on learning new things here lol Thanks Esato!
@orangeman
I saw there that you HAVE to be registered for a direct debit for bill payment
does telewest have good coverage? I see that mobile communications is not the only service they provide...
