In the t610, MSN Messenger was not supported owing to the Java not being able to connect to GPRS... Is this issue resolved with the K700?
Will it be possible to download Java application what can access the phone GPRS and maybe even bluetooth and camera? Has the Java been improved?

Yes its now possible, as the K700 is now Java MIDP 2.0

Just gotta wait for someone to make an app !

java has been improved ten fold. All games play smoothly and are really good compared to t610. Also there is a menu which alows you to choose which wap/gprs connection you want to be accessable via java, so that should no longer be an issue. Though i am not sure about bluetooth or the camera

Question:

I have two Java games that I would like to play on my K700, and the file formats for each are .jar

I have also tried renaming them to .jad but that had no effect either.

What file format of Java does the K700 recognise, because it isnt recognising these two games?

.jar is definately the right format, when transferred to the phone they should be saved straight into the games folder, how are you transfering them, and what does the phone say when the transfer is over?

Jar (j2me or java) and mpn for mophun. Maybe the games are incompatible. My phone has midp2 but still canno open some games. This message was posted from a Nokia
