hi every1 im new around here... but am an experienced p900 user

well i just recently got a problem tryin to download files using opera eg. mp4, 3gp. opera does not "fully" dl any type of file... the status bar fills up near to the end but the just stops, the relevant prog gets opened but the files r corrupt, this has happened with all atempts and diff file types.. its annoying!! ive even tried reinstalling... master reset... the installing but nothing works and i do have enuff memory also...and latest firmware etc. i just dont wats happened!
opera used to dl fine

ps ihave opera 6.31

thtz funny, cz ihave 6.31 too, and dont have any problems downloading files. I had downoaded zip files as well as mp3 files... not sure whtz giving u the problem.... sorry

yes ive tried many diff file but same problem... the original p900 browser dls files fine..

ive tried reverting back to 6.30 and 6.20, same problem.. ive even manually deleted all opera files and then reinstalled but with no luck... unless i have missed so that maybe read only?

ok im gonna try 1 last time to reinstall after a master reset can some1 tell me if there are any hidden or read only files that i may need to remove to fully unistall opera 6.31

plz this is getting on my nerves!

This is a part of mail I got from Opera Support. I didn't have the same problem, but these are the files that may be left behind after uninstallation:

"Could you please try open the folder SystemLibs (on both drives) after uninstalling Opera? Please take a look to see if there is any files left behind in that folder starting with
opr*.*
QWeb*.*
Web*.*.
If you find any please delete them and try to install 6.31 again."

If this doesn't help, you should write to them. They are really nice and they respond very quickly.

btw wat was ur problem?
can u dl properly? and can u tell me watfirmware u have?
