Hello!

Nice board, been reading alot of posts and replies here for a long time now. Helped me with some problems/questions with my T610.

Now that I brought myself a K700i some days ago, I would need some good answers again!

I love the phone, its good in allways except this bug/problem!
I cant in anyway get it to work with my BT dongle, the same I used with my T68i and T610 with no problems. The phone hangs directly when I try to Pair it from the computer. And I cant even turn the phone off, I need to remove the battery. And re-insert it and start it up again.

When I use the "Discover avaiable BT devices" from WindowsXP it founds the phone, the correct name, but cant find any services nor can it pair the phone! And if I search from the phone, it doesnt even found the computer..

Thats no good..

Any ideas?!

I understood from some reviews that I read, that some models has BT problems/bugs, but didnt think it would be this big problem!

I'm using WindowsXP with Belkin USB Bluetooth adapter (newest drivers).

Heres the info I got from the phone (if it helps):
---------------------------------------

prgCXC 125821_EU_1_C

LCD SW versions
Main display
Current: 200404231

ITP SW versions
CXC 125 813 R1T

Customization
CDA102298/34 R6A
cxc1225822 R1A
EU_4
---------------------------------------

Next week I'll see if I could get it updated, if theres an update allready for this.. Cus I really need the BT workin!! Important!

And one more thing, why does it say on the package 32MB memory?
When I check free memory in the phone it says 40MB... And every game, theme, image, sound is there!
But No, I aint complaining!

Hope I could get some replies about this problem, and I really hope its just a little software update that is needed to correct the problem.

Thanks in advance!

Pair it from the phone, not the PC. That will work.

Ok, I got it working...

seems like after all this sh!t, it was windows that was messed up with the bluetooth drivers and so on.

I just tried the same dongle+software on my other computer, works fine. No problems!

weeeeeeeeeeee

Now off to download all the themes/sounds I can find!

Does K700 support .wmv videos? And if so, whats the max file size?

have you tried watching video files on your phone ? how is the frame rate.. is it as good as a pc player or is it slower ?

I dont think the k700 plays wmv as the integrated player only plays 3gp files and mp4 compliant files. you can get a great product that converts almost any sound/video file to mp4 or 3gp
www.mpegable.com
get the mpeg x4 live app demo and try it !
