Ignoring the fact that faggotty isn't a particularly nice word, why don't you just bluetooth them across?

Anybody notice that tones on the K700 sound a little "scratchy" when played? I had a few tones that were on my Z600 and I had them transferred to my K700. Now when I play them (through means of the menu), they sound fine, but when I hear the tone when someone calls (people will notice that the volume of a tone is different when compared from testing to an actual call) it sounds horrible.

The thing is that I have the phone tone volume set at 8 (highest). The reason I have it so high is that I have a hard time hearing the phone ringing when it's in my pocket.

I'd just like to know why the tones sound so horrible when the volume is turned up?

Its probably because the K700's loudspeaker is mono sound, no stereo.

Its something we all get with our K700's now, but its not a major problem for me.

Then download some, or make some yourself.

With a wealth of connectivity options, theres no reason why anyone cannot add more content to their phone.

Please forgive my ignorance but all the ringtones ive looked at are melodies, I just need a simple basic ring tone like u used to get in the good old days (2 years ago) b4 all the polyphonic stuff came out.
Any1 got any links to a decent 1 please .

The ringtone I used to use on my T610 was 'old phone', and it is just an old style (american) ring tone, pretty effective actually. Of course, I can send you the file, but it sounds like you don't have any way of getting it on your handset (I assume you don't have a bluetooth dongle or a serial/usb cable?)

If someone has a wap-site, I could send them the ringtone, and then you could possibly download it that way? I'm sure we can come up with a way somehow.

By the way, what is the problem with sending the files from your T68i to your K700? I've just dug out my old T68i and I could send ringtones between the two devices with no problem...
