I have just discovered a rather major bug using the sim-free version on Orange.
For some reason when dialling the voicemail once you get a new spool notification or holding down the 1 key...Orange does not recognise your caller ID and therefore you get a "please type in your orange voicemail". However if you dial 123, or +44 7973 100123 manually, it does detect your caller id.
Also, I have line 2. On line 2, holding down the 1 button does nothing!
So basically to use voicemail....I have to say no to the new voicemail prompt and dial the number manually or use a contact in the phonebook.
Now that is a weird, and annoying bug!

I noticed exactly the same about a week ago and keep meening to post about it. I've tried everything to fix the number with no success. If you press and hold 1 then ring off innediately and redial it works just fine - very odd indeed.

Could it be an orange bug more than a phone bug ?
It works fine on my K700 with TDC in Denmark.

Strange, I can't see an option to change the voicemail number, as there is no voice mail settings like stated in the manual o_O.

There is a way to change the number....but you are right the menu option is missing.
To change the voicemail number...hold down 1 as soon as the phone has just switched on and found the network. It should prompt you then....The first time it dials it after you program it, it will work successfully...but that is the only time!
The interesting thing is if you program it with 123 at this point....whenever it tries to dial-it, you get an out of order tone!

Go back to standby screen

works just fine on my phone

Still working on a fix for this, but I've been told you can put pauses into your telephone numbers that your phone dials. So, if I put in like +447973100123pTELNUMBERpPINCODE or something, as if p's were pauses, this can eliminate the problem for the time being until a firmware fix is out.
