I went to the CPW today and asked about the k700i and he brought the box out and the box has 32MB Memory on it, but when i actually put a chip into it it said approx 40MB
This is very strange......................... Firmwazre running was r2... sorry didnt get the rest. It was a SIM FREE model.
Can anyone share any light on this???
Has anyone actually brought one and the box has 32MB on it???

yeah. i don t have one personally but i have seen lots of pics with the 32MB sign on the side. but it does have 40MB
check masseurs review of the k700 for som pics of it.

But im just wondering how come they have not got the correct information in regards with the phone.
Do you reckon there are any K700i out there with 32MB memory???
I would not be very pleased if that were the case and i brought 1. I will be checking that it is the updated version of the K700i.

From everyones comments on this forum, I think it is pretty safe to say that there are no K700's out there that start out with 32MB free space, as they all seem to start with around 40MB

What about the K700i which have provider based software on them how much memory is free when you switch your phone on 1st???

well they would save a lot of money..... i mean recalling all boxes would take a while. and its pretty minor so i guess they thought it would be more cost-effective to just leave it. the new batch of boxes will prbably be updated.

Yeah, I think if it was the other way around, in that you ended up with less than what was stated on the box, they would have to of changed it I believe, but seeing as you get more than stated, they probably decided its not really to important
