> Are Tmobile taking the p*
Bookmark topic
Just got a new contract with 02 (uk) to get me self a k700 (loving it) and have cancelled my tmobile contract which i have been with for over 14 months.
Now i want the unlock code from tmobile to unlock my t610 i got with them and there saying i have to pay £15!
Surely as i had been with tmobile for over the contract period the phone is now "mine" and should be able to do what i want with it!
How can tmobile not give me what is mine (the unlock code) if you know what i mean?
Is this legel?
I know there was a thread started before about this but i cant seem to find it?

Annoying, isn't it!

I wish someone would make it law that all phones came able to accept any sim from any network, and without any of that annoying branding on the firmware!
Anyway, You could take it to a phone shop or market stall - I went to one near me and it only cost me £5 to get a T610 unlocked!

It's legal for T-Mobile to charge an admin fee - don't think it can be more than £30.
