> Problem-free K700?
Bookmark topic
Is there anyone who has purchased a K700 and has not reported any problems like most people have? I wonder if there is a problem-free K700 handset or if all the first batches need updates (which would further justify my holding out). And if problem free, where did you get it from? Thanks.

Wow. Are you guys serious? I thought they all had something up with them. From battery problems, # 2 button, bluetooth, etc etc etc!!

the only hardware problem I have experienced is the 2 key and I haven't had the for a week now since I no longer press the keys the way it causes the problem. bluetooth has worked beautifully for the most part and the battery problem is not a battery problem but an indicator problem, but again I have not noticed that myself.
I do believe after 2 weeks use that the K700 is a little rough around the edges but nothing that a quick firmware update couldn't fix, much like any other phone I have bought on first availability really, P900 excepted

Thanks Masseur.
Is there any carrier that sells without branding? Cause my company here in Jamaica, Digicel (parent company Mossel from Ireland I believe) sells phones without branding and all that. And no special menu or anything from my experience. I love that. See them at
http://www.digiceljamaica.com. They are only 3 years old now.

Mine turned up today - Voda Live handset, R2A. Only problem so far is I just tried a video and it rebooted as it started recording (had been fine earlier). Worked when I tried again. Paired with my pc and headset no problem, the "pc remote control" worked (gimmicky!). Only other thing is I can't use an MP3 as a ringtone, but its a full song and I guess the phone won't let me as its just too big. Will try a smaller file.

I know all that. I was just wondering if the carriers themselves in the UK or elsewhere in Europe did it the same way my local carrier does (unbranded, unlocked).
