Is there any way to transfer SMS (both the received and the sent) to a PC?
(Possibly with a freeware SW

yeah u can get software for that. depends on what phone u have and the method ur using (i.e. USB cable, IR, etc)

For information and free downloads, take a look at
floAt's Mobile Agent and
M2XDAM Phone Manager.
Unfortunately I didn't notice that this was in the P800/P900 thread which clearly indicates that you have either a SE P800 or a SE P900. If that's correct, certainly/probably neither of the two tools named above will work...

Might I suggest Oxygen Phone Manager II v2.2 for Symbian OS phones from
http://www.oxygensoftware.com/ tho Ive never used it personally. It may be just what you're looking for, unfortuately its not freeware
