How long does it take before it crashes? I wonder if Outlook is denying access to the address book after a certain ammount of time? Do you get the 'Another aplication is trying to access your address book' warning when you start your sync?

Are you sure it's the PC Suite that's causing trouble. I had the same problem - calendar synched, but contacts didn't and later on the system froze. It all started after I installed Zone Alarm 5. Now I'm back at version 4.5 and everything works fine again.

disabling it didn't help me. I had to uninstall. But then I concluded i cannot be without firewall, so i went back to 4.5
