> Remove click sound from k700 camera?

Howdy
Just got the K700 a couple of days ago and to all you doubters out there: IT*S AWESOME!!
One thing is annoying me though, that horrible click sound when you take a picture with the camera! Is it possible to remove it somehow? Just putting the phone on silent did not help...

as has been mentionde quite a few times now, you can select the meeting profile or simply change the ringtone volume of the profile you are using down a bit or all the way to zero. silent mode has no effect on the camera sounds

Hopefully this will be rectified in new firmware

i think you can't remove thatclick sound in all phones, so a firmware update will do nothing. I heard it's a regulation so you can't really take pictures of others without knowing.(illegal?)

its certainly removable in all sony ericsson phones with cameras that have been made up until now
can't say anything for other brands
there was talk late last year of making the sound compulsory but I don't think anything has become of that as yet

You can definately 'Mute Shutter' on the P-Series but how do u do it on the T6x0 without silencing the phone?
The sound on the K700 is the worst thing, it sounds like a cartoon punch or something!

I think the Siemens MC60 sound is horrible
Possibly the worst, this due to that phone having not many polyphonic voices.
But anyway who buys Siemens anyway?
BTW: A quick tip to silencing the T610 or camera sound is - Set a shorcut from standby mode (T610 has one available shortcut) to the silent profile and then set the profile to normal after taking the picture
