When I want to internet with my (regestered) gprs account I can only do it with the standard broweser. But opera doesnt do anything! can somebody help me?

absolutelly not true! where did you come up with that?
actually, i assume the problem resides in the fact that he uses a p800 with an earlier firmware. update is necessary in order opera to work. mine doesnt work either. i.m planning software update soon. good luck.

He is telling the truth. I`m on Vodafone in the uk. I can only access the web using opera if I change my GPRS settings from WAP to WEB. The built in browser works fine with WAP or WEB settings. It has been discussed on here several times.

Firmware is basically the software that makes your phone work. To get it updated you need to take your phone to your nearest SE service centre. If you have a P900 you can update the firmware yourself by going to the support part of the SE website.

Ok, Ive tried to update my p900 by using the support part of the site... but it doesn't works! The update service installs a program but after some wizzard steps I have to wait (hours) and it doens't do anything... Help is welcome!
(and my problem of opera that doesn't work is the cause of all this problems!)
