does anyone know if it's possible for me to upload a website im designing to my p800 and view it using the web browser?
have had a quick try but couldn't point it to an internal location

I haven't tried but I vaguelly recall that you prefix the address with
file:///
so it would be
file:///c:/xxx/yyy etc
perhaps you could even use the sman file manager to locate the file and open it from there

save it to... C:/system/apps/browser/folders/saved pages (then you should be able to open it in the internal browser)

oh yes, that will work too. in fact thats what sman does when you try to open the html from the file manager

file:///d:/For browsing "d" folder, so you don't need to know where the file is, because you'll find it
For "c"... replace "d"
