Just got my P900 recently, if I get a bluetooth dongle (USB) can I use my PC internet connection to surf the internet on the phone? For sitting outside or just generally away from the PC.
If so do i need any special apps for the phone or PC
I've only been able to find details of the dongle being plugged into a laptop and the phone used as a modem.
Help/advice appreciated

Yes, you can. Use the Opera Browser for the P800/900. You have to establish a connection first from the PC side using the Serial Port Profile.

Right, I've got Opera in and I've got a BT serial connection going but I can't see how to start the internet without it trying to connect to my GPRS account,
So how do I do that, do I need a plug-in for opera ?
Thanks for help

I think you need the phone connection manager to recognise the phone on the PC first (when you get a little icon of your phone appear by the clock like when you connect via cable)
I have just ordered a Bluetooth adapter myself, so I'll let you know if I get it working when it arrives.
It is possible to do, so don't give up trying, I think it might have something to do with setting up the COM ports & a shared internet connection on your PC. There may be some more helpful threads on this forum if you search.
