I dropped my K700 earlier, just got this yesterday. The strap releases out by itself if you keep on moving them. I was so worried and I almost cry , lucky it dropped on the low metal table and on the floor but. Still okay, just a little scratch which is not so obvious, but can live with it.

I remember when i dropped my t610 to the floor and the metal was bumped at the phones left front edge. Snif... Snif... If i only found the bastard who stole it... I would stab him with my swiss army knife at the leg where it would hurt. This message was posted from a WAP device

You mean you can stab someone in the leg in a place it wont hurt ?

My K700 (and probably all K700 phone outside of Asia) didnt come with a strap, im using my own that came with my digital camera. Its very strong, and has no release so im hoping i'll never drop mine.

This is why I would never entrust my phone to one of those silly straps, it's much safer in my pocket.

PS why is this posted in the 'Other Manufacturers' Forum?

doesn't sound good. Suprised my k700 hasn't had a drop yet, my t610 got battered, so bought a new case, but that is also battered now.
