Hi guys,

Since a few months I am the proud owner of a Da bomB SonyEricsson P900

I already downloaded thousands of cool applications, games, wallpapers, themes etc. etc.
Yesterday I tested the program "Bemused", it looks cool, but I cannot get it working.

Bemused works in combination with WinAmp 2 or 3 and with Windows Media Player 7.
But my XP laptop uses Windows Media Player 9 and also I have WinAmp 5 installed.
So the problem is that the programs that I use are to new for the Bemused server.

Does anyone know if there is a Bemused server application that also works with WinAmp 5
and/or Media Player 9, or do I have to downgrade my WinAmp or Media Player to a lower
version to let it be controlled by my P900?

Hey, u left out telling the version of bemused. i have bemused v1.73, n have no probz in making it to work with winamp 5. i dont know abt WMP 9, coz i dont use it... will give a try on tht 2 n update here

Well, i've configured the bemusedserver to use WMP9 to open mpg files, and it sure did open the program to play a mpeg video... so it works!

when i try to connect bemused 1.73 with my p900, it says "failed to connect with com port. is the pc suite using this com port?"

does this mean that i have to make a different bt serial port for bemused?

I to have version 1.73 ..mine connects to winamp 5 and i have just tryed it with windows media player 10 and that works ok aswell ( music or video )

i get that message sometimes ..normally when its in the docking station ...just click on phone connection link (line with 2 arrows on )..click properties and untick com port 16 ...then try bemused again and it should work
