Does anyone out there knows how to play Lemings? or where can I dowload the instruction manual?

It's really quite simple.
Choose an ability from the row at the bottom then press a lemming to give it that ability.
The number on each ability means how many times u can use it.
Some abilities such as basher only work when u choose a lemming next to a wall.
The mushroom cloud 'nukes' all the lemmings (blowing them all up) & the paw prints pause the game (paws = pause, get it!
)
The objective is then to use the abilities available to u to get all the lemmings to the exit.

No u can't take abilities away but only a few remain anyway. Things like diggers, bridge builders & bashers run out when they first finish doing it.
Climbers will climb every wall they come to (may be a good idea to give them a brolly to so they float back down safely!) and the only way to remove a blocker is to blow him up!!

Ah not quite, you can also remove a blocker by using the diagonal digger to dig away the ground under him - this is essential on some later levels

Anyone know who to enter the level codes though? I have tried the wheel and also tried using the stylus but get nowhere. Its a pain having to restart from the very first level every time. Any help would be welcome

Just write the numbers on the top half of the screen using the stylus.
That worked for me.
