any one know if it is any good. One of my 2 contracts is due for a upgrade. My P900 will still be safely by my side.
I would go for a k700i but after reading about all the bugs and MP3 ring tone problems i aint to keen.

If you have seen a Moto V500/V600 running it is the same but in a different shell and i think the v80 shell is pretty naff quality. Just some ringtone lights around the outside of the casing , pretty stable due to using the v600 firmware but only as 5-6meg memory i think.
K700i is a far better phone , firmware update will soon sort it out.

yes its good i used it for 3 hours on my uncles phone shop and its very cool, but i think the e398 will be much better.
the v80 has style, but if you rotate it 180 degrees; it's very big
but i liked it cuz i love Motorola

well i think i will pop along to my local shop and have a look at the k7 and the v8 and have a play, i guess that is the only really way to see if i like them!

I like how it looks in pictures I have seen online. It is a nice phone generally but we all know bug or on bug the K700 IS BEST. Firmware upgrade will make it even better. But I agree, go play around.

Went to the phone shop on friday, I had a play with the K700, and was less than impressed. I really did not think that much of it and was a real dissapointment
They did not have any V80`s in stock but they did have a nice little Samsung E800. So had a play with it and it was really nice. I liked it cos it was so small.
I am going back to have a look at the V80 in the week. so will make my final decision then.
BTW - Phones 4 u are doing a wicked deal on the p900 £20 for the phone on a £15 a month contract !!!!! was gonna get one just to sell!

Today i bought the V80. Just like you i have my P900 still by my side, but i sold my T610 last week. So I need a new phone, again a phone thats small and neat.
I was going for the K700, but then i saw the V80 last week. It is a pretty nice(but the menu cannot even come close to that of SE'e) phone. I will try it out for about a week. If i still like it Ill post it and ill wait then for the S700 to replace my V80. In case i dont like the V80: Ill just go ahead and buy the K700...
