I've just bought a bluetooth adaptor for my PC.
It's seems to be working great.
The only problem is any time to walk away a back to it I need to always start the connection manually for PC Suite to pick it up on one of the COM's.
Has anybody else had this? did they correct it in anyway??
Also my friend has told me to try another bt software, any ideas?
I did try a search but only found this what didn't help.

I have Z600 connected to pc always using fma for sync etc. There is option to use proximity to auto connect to pc via bt. But only for this program.

Ok.
I've got them syncing but I still need to go through the PC to connect to the 'bluetooth serial port'
Is there no way of getting around this?
I've tried floAt's Mobile Agent but cannot get it to work with the p900.

There's a program for your PC called Proximity Connector (http://www.ephebe.f2s.com/ProximityConnector.htm) that automatically connects your PC to your phone whenever it's in range. It's great, but the problem is that being connected for all that time really drains your battery. What we really need is an app for the P900 that allows us to establish a bluetooth serial connections from the phone, rather than from the PC.
Hope this helps.

If what you describe is already there to connect when in proximity, then what you desire is also easy. Just set up to connect whenever in proximity. When you want to disconnect, switch bluetooth off from phone. To reconnect, switch bluetooth on.

But that would mean I can't use bluetooth on my phone with other devices. If only there was a way...
