I posted about having webmail on your phone, and i recieved quite a number of PMs. This has probably been discussed in length before, but I am just posting how to do it.

First of all, you must have a wap browser and some kind of data account on your phone (talk to your operator to figure this out)

go here and register with their mail service. You will have to choose a 4-digit PIN and go through all that validation email crap. Then, create a bookmark in your phone with the address https://www.mymail.ie/pin.asp?uid=email@provider.com , and you're set !

Many email providers also have an option for a text message to be sent to your phone every time you get an email. I suggest you have 2 accounts: one to sign up to websites and mailing lists, etc. and one for personal use. I have not recieved a single spam mail yet so it doesnt waste any text messages

Btw, the site is secure (128-bit SSL)

Kim, this is just like a Chevy...Tried, tested and true! (of was that GM? lol)

Registration is super fast and easy, AND the bonus is that it doesnt seem to require a lot of data transfer, logging on and reading one email only took 3.3kb sent and 3.6kb received...I think it's great if you're trying to limit you're data transfers

Anyways, thanks kim, this is just what i needed
