I think I posted this in the wrong place last time... please help!!!
I also have a problem with my T300 Sony Ericcson Vodafone pay as you talk.
I bought the mobile phone in the UK, and I am now studying in Germany.
When I bought a new (pay as you talk) sim card (in Germany)... the phone won't allow me to use the new German card. :} as it is locked to other country sim cards.
I contacted Vodafone UK Cust. Serv. (or lack of Cust. Serv), they said that Vodafone Germany can unlock my phone at the shop where I bought my sim.
At Vodafone Germany, they said that I have to go back to the UK to get the phone unlocked.
This is a viscious circle of Customer service mayhem...can anyone tell me what is the code I need to enter or point me to where I can obtain the code without flying back to the UK!!!
In this wireless age, there must be an easier and cheaper (hopefully free) solution.

There are lots of phone shops that will unlock phones, just don't go to the big chain stores. Find a dodgy looking little shop & they'll do it usually for £10
