I've encounterd some lag when i answer to a call. From time to time it can take up to two or three seconds for the caller to hear me.

I first encounterd this when i had a picture connected to a person.
the larger the pic was the longer the lag lasted. So i've cropped the images in Photoshop to the default contact picturesize (112x122) about 4kb in size, then no lag.

However, even if a person in my contact list calls me, a contact without a picture added there can be a lag.

A hint from the SE support was to reset my profile. I've done so and the last two calls has been ok, so i cannot say that this solved my problem. Annyone else encounterd this?

I'm longing for a firmware update! I hope this is a firmware issue.

Best regards
/Daniel

I've experienced the same thing as you. I havent thought about it a lot, so I have not tried to do anything about it. If it depends on how big the pictures are I cannot say because I havent tried.

But I now about the lag you're talking about. I hope they'll fix that in the next upgrade.

I get this also. I'll pick up the phone say hello and the other person hasn't heard me, I think i've pretty much adapted to it though so haven't done anything about it

I used to get this on my t610 too so it looks like this issue, whatever causes it, has been around a while

does it depend on whether or not you have a picture attached to the caller?

err I dont think it did, I havent got the phone anymore so cant test it. I remember when I got the phone it was really quick answering but just before I got rid of it it got really really bad!

I have noticed it on the K700 too & my old T300 used to suffer also.
I think it probably can be fixed with f/w upgrades but anyone got any other solutions for the time being?

I don't think it is caused by caller image (only anyway) as one of my collegues never answers me from his T610..or so i thought until reading this thread I have asked him numerous times why he cant answer a bloody call properly! Guess I owe him an apology now..
Btw, he doesn't have an image associated with me, so whatever is causing the lag on his phone, the image ain't it. Strange!
