> K700 vs T610

Hi all,
I have had the T610 for more than a year and I really loved it.
Then when the K700 came out I thought about buying it. But is it really worth the money? Here is my 50p on the subject:
Of course The K700 has more memory, better display with heigher resolution, MP3 player, radio, better camera with video recorder etc... but if you dont really need that? Is it still a better phone?
The answer is YES!
What's not obvious are the small improvements, like:
1) Address fields have been added in the contact list
2) New message symbols appear above the clock in standby mode
3) You can customize all 4 joystick ways to your own shortcuts!
4) Speed is alot faster when reading emails etc... (was a pain on the T610!)
5) The speaker is alot better! Its a real pleasure to listen to people and listen to music (when on hold) Superb!
6) The signal reception quality (internal antenna) is also superb! Alot better than T610 and T68i. Have yet to find a place where I cannot get a signal on the K700
All in all its the best phone I have had so far. And it still has this small form factor that I like so much!
That said, there are still a few things I would like in the phone:
1) A memory expansion slot.
2) The possibility to customize the SMS ringtone.
3) Set recurrent birthday alarms.
4) Hook a profile change to an appointment.

or is it another thing orange users of the K700 have been robbed from?
I like the design of the K700 better than the T610 it looked a bit plain and common the K700 looks great from the back and the light is a great feature just tap five and its on i use it as a night light and to see in the adark its brighter than my photon 3 light!

Having handled the K700 today I must admit I love the design of the T610.
Yeah, the K700 is feature packed and is well designed but the popularity of the T610 is surely testament to the correct balance of form and function.
The simplicity of the design suitably belies it's sophistication.
Out of house design is a good idea in my opinion. . SE have obviously benefitted from using an out of house designer in this case Erik Ahlgren. . the use of materials has been carefully selected and the handset is instantly recognisable, almost iconic (I almost sound like I know what I am talking about)

the K700 is better , when i saw the pics i thought it was going to be huge like the Brickia's but it is smaller than the T610/30 and the design is better , plus more memory , better cam etc etc etc
