SE gone for the cheaper option of a lithium ion battery made in korea,on k700 rather than a better battery used in previous handsets like the lithium polymer, made in japan! Do SE expect up to carry a spare battery. Really annoying ! And what happened to the Voice profiles and Voice redial ! And a choice of BT settings such as handsfree or headset profile? :-( This message was posted from a WAP device

Probably it was the shop that cheapted you. I know some shop will take out the original batt and throw in a 3rd party batt.

I don't see the problem... The only real difference between ion and polymer is the shape that the cells can be put into. If a lithium ion battery fits in my K700, thats fine by me.

If lithium ion made the battery an awkward shape, then I would prefer polymer, but otherwise there is no problem.

I guess there is a difference but are you sure that polymer is better than ion?

Is there any performance difference between Li-ion & Li-polymer?
