> Changing Icons In HandyDesktop
Bookmark topic
Does anybody know how to this. I don't like default or custom icons, but i do have some on my computer that look great. I've noticed that HandyDesktop keeps its custom files in icons.mbm file. What kind of file is that and how can it be modified? Can anybody help me with that?

I dont see any difference in customs or default icons. I once wrote to Epocware but never got any answer about it. Anyway I prefer HandyDesktop instead of HandyDay and Tracker.

I've managed to do it. But my icons were no good, because there were to complicated for 32x32 and 20x16 size. Anybody has a link to simple yet nice icons?

@jabe
i've managed to do that some time ago too but still there was no good result - windows xp and any other icons with smooth lines and gradient colors looked really crappy so i changed my mind in getting any new icons for the app. anyways it is THEIR work to create new stuff for US to buy their apps. write 'em a letter!

Yes, but waiting for them to come up with something could mean waiting forever. I found some icons that don't give the best result but still I now have what I wanted - a unique phone

This one! When you mentioned AquaCalendar I remembered Hedlasse made a .zip folder with all the tools to change icons in this program. So I dowloaded it and it was in it. Couldn't do it without you
I found this tutorial on my-symbian on how to use it:
http://my-symbian.com/uiq/faq/showquestion.php?fldAuto=8&faq=2
Keep in mind that icons must be in following order:
icon1.bmp (size 32x32)
icon1 mask.bmp (size 32x32)
icon1.bmp (size 20x16)
icon1 mask.bmp (size 20x16)
and so on...
Hope this works for you and that you'll get better results than I did at first.
