I have the exact same problem. Theres no instructions in the manual on how to set it up either, and ive looked on the CD that came with the phone for the files you're meant to send to your pc to allow it to work but couldnt find them.
Masseur ? help ?

the remote control feature isn't installed on your PC.
If you are using win XP go into your bluetooth places then search all devices. Find your k700 and search all its services. There should be an option called mouse and keyboard. Double click this then it will auto install the needed software/driver for you to use this function. Then you can connect as normal from the phone.

I have 7..
dial up, HS voice gateway, Obex ftp, Obex IRMC, Obex push, Serial 1, Serial 2.
No keyboard and mouse profile, even though when i look on my K700 the services list says HID... cant get it to show on pc.

weird, mine wasn't installed but it was on the service list and it installed as soon as i click the icon.
Are you using windows XP?
When i go to the control panel and look at the keyboards, there are 2 my USB one, and a virtual BT keyboard, which was the one that must have been installed.

really not sure what the problem could be, someone else wil have to step in.
this is the driver that is related to the virtual HID though,
www.mysite.com/btwhid.sys (check profile for site address)
You could always try putting that in to c:/windows/system32/drivers
