hi. I'm newbie there. I've some problems with my new P900. I've installed TotalirRemoteUiq_Full_En, selected TV (also tried DVD - both by Panasonic), but it doesn;t work for me. I tried all buttons and nothing happend (I tried it also very close to the TV - about 10 cm).
Another problem I've with Kamasutra. When I tried to install it, I've got the message, that I've 1st install Booster, so I did it and than I was able to install the Kamasutra.But I can't "run" it - I get message "not supported".
Has any1 any idea, what's wrong?

1st of all the remote control program is simply crap! just uninstall it as it wastes valuable space on your phone - just use the standard tv remote!
and secondly the kamasutra youve installed is for the p800 not the p900 thats why its not supported there is a post on this forum somewhere - use the search link at the top......
if you want to install some decent apps - then get Sman(complete file manager), Ogg play(like mp3 player but you can convert mp3 to oggs to make them smaller and save yourself some more space on your phone) and agilemessenger can connect you to msn and other instant messenger services, Opera(version 6.3.1) for browsing the www pages of the web and if you like games get Lemmings its great fun if your bored!! good luck.

Hmmm... Total IRremote aint crap, not for me atleast. It works like a gem for a few Sony TVs, HiFi and DVD systems, as well as JVC TV and philips audio. but it did not work at the first try. u might have to look around a bit and see if there are any device definitions. PSILoc has given links for Philips CCF and Linux Lirc...

What kind of range do u manage to achieve cos I've found it to be far to short to be worth while, that is when it works at all

The AppForge Booster is my pet hate also. Again I've given it several chances but I HATE how it installs sooo many components & then doesn't work properly. When it does work & u find a new app for it u find out u now need a newer version of the Booster!!

It will NEVER be installed on my phone again

I wouldn't go mad trying to get that Karma Sutra working either, it's not good at all!

Thx 4 ur answers. I'll ask once again. I've installed VNC Viewer(4 testing). I've no idea, how to unistall it. Application->Uninstall (there is no VNC in the list of applications). So, is it possible ot find it and delete it from c:\ (via Sman)?
Another questions is about "contacts" - is there any application, which will allow me to edit contacts on my PC? Now I change infos in Outlook and than Synchronize. But at work I don;t use Outlook and I want to have chance to simply change details of my contacts saved in P900. Is there any way, how to do it?

@MikLSP, i was able to get a good 2.5 to 3 meters, thtz arnd 10feet... thtz good enuf for me.. btw, am talking about total irremote, not the irRemote. guess psiloc has 2 different stuff, but dunno wht the exact difference is...

Why would you want to use your phone as a TV remote? The original remote is much more functional and as more SW you install on your phone as more unstable it can get.

Cause I was curios, if it really works. Cause already happend to me, that RC wasn't working cause of low battery (and I hadn't new), cause of juice in RC. Cause I couldn't find RC for few days.
