i have a E398 for a week now and dis fone is really cool...

The fone's stereo speakers is fantastic. specially when u play those midi and mp3 files where there are significant left&right panning of sounds. Wud suggest buyin a SD/MMC card reader for faster transfer of MP3... (It has an adapter for so you can fit the TransFlash on SD/MMC readers)

The camera is also one of the BEST camera's on fones... You can easily adjust the brightness and zooming (up to 4x) with the joystick...
and the brightness adjustment really makes a difference on the pictures (unlike on T610, where brightness adjustment is very un-noticeable)
The Camera also has auto-night mode.. So you dont have to worry about the proper shutter speed of your camera. The 4X zoom is also great... There is no noticeable difference in quality from the standard picture to the zoomed ones.

i also like the way it feels on the hands. it kinda rubber-coated so it does not easily slips on your hands unlike K700i, which is very slippery.

It look elegant too... the keypads are very classy.

And another cool feature is the Application Lock... You can password protect almost every application such as: browser, settings, phonebook, call list, games, etc.
So no more worries when someone borrows your fone and accidentally or intentionally changes the settings. Also no more unwanted browsing of WAP pages... even games, as in everything can be locked

Really like this fone...

thanks

@shyam335, yes.. It only stores messages on the SIM.. Good thing I have a 128-bit SIM that can store 100 SMS to compensate..

What phone are you using now? I bought the E398 as replacement for my T610 (which my mom is using now)..

Battery life is good for a Motorola (way way better than my previous T720).. 2 days even if I occasionally play MP3s via the stereo speaker..
