> P900 status bar jumps

I have just installed SMS Manager which works lovely UNTIL I install the registration key. Once the key is installed and I open the app, the status bar which is normally at the bottom of the screen jumps to the top of the screen minus the keyboard icon, therefore allowing me no way to input my password.........has anyone else experienced this?
