hi all,
i have a new t610 for two or three weeks now and i've had some problems with battery life from the begining. i know this subject has been discused many times around here. there are many sugestions, possible solutions, and feedback from other SE owners but i never found a real answer to the problem.
well, if someone (like me) is experiensing low battery life on a new phone (something more than one day in my case) don't expect it to get any better after:
-10 charge cycles
-3 months of use
-charging your battery for 12 or 24 hours
-completely discharging it
-you move to a place with better signal
-you turn your bluetooth off
-you turn your gprs off
-you turn :anything: off
well, i'm sure it helps if you turn the phone off. it could keep a charge for more than a year.
sellers sugesting any of the above as a solution are just wasting your time!!!
i've been trying to find a solution for three weeks now. i thought i used the phone too much on the first days, then i thought the signal was too weak... bla bla bla. at the end i just took my battery back to the place where i bought the phone and they gave me a new one. guess what. it was up for 23 hours out of the box (no charge or anything) and after the first charge... well, it is ON for 40 hours now and the indicator is at 60%.
the battery life should be as a minimoum 3 days aproximately with normal use and this is day one. it could get a bit better after the first charge cycles but nothing of the above will change the battery life from one day to four no mater how bad the signal is in your area, how new the battery is, or how bad you treat your battery.
as i said before, i've seen many people with the same problem around. i hope my negative experience with the issue to be useful to someone and maybe save some headaches.
