Ok, which port do you connect to on your PC? For example I have port 7 for a BT serial connection and port 3 for a BT LAN connecton. Which one do I use?

Also, do I need to set up any other network settings on my PC?

Cheers

Jason

You don't need to do anything to the network settings.

What do you want to do?

I'd like to connect my phone to my bluetooth dongle on my PC (I can do this already, send and receive files no problem) and use that to browse the web via my broadband connection on said PC.

Or use the hidden wi-fi feature of the P900 to use my home network. If only! I'm joking!

As long as the PC Suite 'sees' your phone, Opera should be able to use your BB conection as if it was connected to the usb cradle.

I take it you connect to the serial port? I tried this last night but Opera seemed to be struggling, it was slow but it didn't moan about not being connected, it just didn't seem to bring any data back. Maybe I should disable my firewall to try and get it going.

Thanks for the advice.

Yeah, you have to connect the fon via the serial BT port and then it works just fine. Good luck.

I'm using a usb.

I did have a little trouble with Norton firewall at first when I was just using the cradle for connection.

Just have a look at your firewall software and check the lsat connections it blocked if any.
