its so anoying looking at that the t-mobile text on the screen when l gave my old p800 to my wife and she got a cingular wireless sim card in it and it still displays T-Mobile on the flip close

I think you need to have the firmware upgraded at a Sony Service Center to get rid of the T-Mobile logo.
I've got no idea how you find out where your nearest Service Center is though, sorry.
